Introduction to the Thought of Owen Barfield

Owen Barfield (1898-1997) was a formidable thinker, an influence on C.S. Lewis and other Inklings, and -- more recently -- an influence on Susanna Clarke's wonderful novel, Piranesi. His reflections on poetry, language, ontology, and history are rich and merit a more widespread sounding.
